  • Hey, I'm thinking of buying this guitar or a Gibson SG Standard. I want that progressive rock and heavy rock sound. Kind of a fusion of AC/DC and Rush or Van Halen and Yes. Which guitar is better for this?

  • @astrophysics123

Both guitars are suitable for that style. I've never played a SG but I'm guessing it would sound brighter than the LP, while the latter has a fatter sound. Take the body shapes into consideration as well as they are completely different.

  • the stuff you played is it a song from you?

  • @ShiningRedMoon

Yes, it's a melody I came up with some time ago.

  • did u take off the pickgaurd or did it come without it

  • @dmprophet46

  • Thanks for not playing with all that horrible distortion that eveyrone likes to use. It's great to hear the GUITAR for a change!

  • Hey, what You think about the maple topping that's in the new versions. Is there a big difference?

  • i fucking want a guitar like that

  • Love the look when the the pickguard being removed

  • I'monna paint mine!

  • The Studio 60s Tribute is Waaaaaaayyyyy better.

  • @vinnieIbz cool thanks man

  • @astrophysics123

I have a gibson sg and it is seriously amazing, it can do heaps of genres from really nice clear crisp clean to like holding a killer solid rock distortion sound, (its really good with with distortion) really good sustain for such a light guitar

  • @pokeymud i agree its usually the nut that gives most tuning problems especially if your using heavier gague strings than the 10s they are normally set up with. They can bind in the nut enough to give probs. Either take it to a tech or go very carefully with a proper set of nut files. But before this try a bit of graphite or nut lube under the strings at the nut. Hope you get sorted

  • Love the sound you get from that gorgeous guitar. A great melody - particularly like the last note and the the last chord - it was all good!
