There was cheer in the air as a team of painters from the New England Chapter of the PDCA gave an uplifting paint makeover to Abby's House, one of the first homeless shelters for women in the United States. The paint job was almost completed when Mayor Joe O'Brien stopped by to lend a hand to the project. Thanks to a supply of beautiful colors donated by Economy Paint, the family room, dining room and kitchen now feel even more like an inviting home for the shelter residents.
