  • guys, dont exaggerate. taubman is defined as pressing by dropping hand hard and twisting instead of finger joints, which is very successful. stop using fancy and eloquent descriptions and flowery speech.

  • I've studied with Bob Durso for nearly 4 years, and in that time my playing has been completely transformed. The Taubman approach truly breaks down every aspect of a virtuoso technique. If anyone reading plays, and experiences any limitations or discomfort at the piano, you owe it to yourself to research the Taubman approach.

I have studied the Taubman approach to coordinate technique with Bob Durso for 5 years now and it has not only allowed me to recover from a serious injury but also has opened up new technical possibilities for me that I never thought were possible. If anyone watching this video wants more input about the Taubman approach I'd be happy to answer any questions...
