I like you and you like me a lot
And we do those things that can make us feel hot
Then we join some friends, all of them are all right
And we talk a while, then we climb in our cars

What a night, we all drive into town
Where we'll park our cars, and meet the rest of our friends
At a place that's called, I forget what it's called
But it's really great, and all our friends will be there

I like you and you like me a lot
And it's nice to be all alone with you too
But it's also nice being out with our friends
Cause they're all all right, maybe that's why we're friends

I feel great, but it's getting real late
So I'll drive you home and you'll slide up real close
I'm so glad we met, and I like you so much
And I'm also glad that I got all those friends

  • Thanks for posting. Love this song. You wouldn't happen to have Rockin' Girls would you? :)

  • Thanks for watching ;)

    'Rockin' Girls' is coming up.

  • This song so perfectly describes the vague idiocy that goes along with people who think they are popular, or think "popular" exists.

  • Love it!! Takes me back....

    Thanks, ESaetre!

  • @1967mustanggta yup, I will be 62 years in July! hey, I really enjoyed the "llamas with hats!" that was funny! also, thanks for reminding Me of Carol Burnett--I used to watch Her all the time--the "Family" was the best comedy back then! Thanks for showing that!

  • @richardhenly So you are over 60. I am closing in on 50. It's just downright cruel how time has flown by. You know, to go on about this music today is the same as someone going on about Nat KIng Cole or Perry Como when this album came out.

  • @1967mustanggta Agree with you! I was 33 years then; but still young enough to "blend in"--yes, I miss it, too!

  • @Skulldini yes your right , well 91.x was another from baja ca mex threw san diego.. via so cal..

  • @LadyEdgar I think it also involves something about two people who genuinely do like each other and would really rather be alone together .

  • @mryellowcrown THAT was probably the ONLY radio station in existence that this song was probably ever played on too. I was a southern California resident during the 80's & early 90's so I'm familiar with that station .

  • Awesome.

  • You wouldn't happen to have the studio version of Fill'er up would you? Thanks for the high quality tracks.

  • SALUDOS y gracias por subir es lo mejor de los 80s desde ECUADOR
