I was an Army brat, Dad stationed near Stuttgart in Germany 1965-67. These guys played the Patch Barracks Teen Club regularly; for the time they were a very professional outfit--they also had the longest hair I'd ever seen on men up to that point. At the time, "looking British" was practically required if you wanted any interest from the kids, or the record companies, for that matter.
One of the top German beat groups of the 1960s. Started out in West Berlin and then moved later to Dusseldorf (West Germany). Had local hits with "Shakin' All Over" (Johnny Kidd & Pirates song) and "Poor Boy" (self-penned) in 1965 and continued through the decade and into the Seventies with somewhat lesser notoriety. Still going strong. although original lead singer Ulli Guenther is no longer alive. A group well worth remembering!
