Silverado V.S F-150 Rev off

Whos truck is louder? Ford has stock exhaust with a cherry bomb and exits where it does stock. Chevy has full cat-back Flowmaster 40 series.

@Benchimusprime silverado has a 5.3 V8 and F-150 has the 5.4.

@ChevyZ71djd ah. 4.6 woulda sounded better. If a 4.6 and 5.4 have the same exhaust the 4.6 sounds better.

@ChevyZ71djd lol size doesnt mean anything. The 4.6 has a bigger bore relative to its stroke than the 5.4 does. I also think the 4.6 might have higher compression but dont quote me on that. Trust me, I have a 5.4 and my friend had a 4.6. We both had the same dual glasspack setups done to our trucks at the same shop. His was louder and had more cackle than mine.

@Benchimusprime crackle might sound good but thats not always healthy. not very good for the engine

@mooseymikey82 i agree besides the ford is louder part. i think its very clear that the chevy (my truck) sounds mean and the ford is just a deep tone

ford is louder but i dont like the sound of glasspacks. I usually dont like the sound flows either but in this case the chevy sounds better and is a nicer truck
