  • Well technically we're all relatives so that doesn't matter much.

And technically since "Russian" is a nationality and Siberia is part of the Russian nation the heading is correct. Siberia is a HUGE chunk of Russia's land mass. It's hardly a fringe territory, they're a sizable portion of the population, and Siberia's been part of "Russia" for longer than the US has been a country.

Sorry, but cultural elitism bothers me.

    smartcar1, I enjoyed your video.

  • From a warrior perspective, dance and music of this type develop cardio endurance, coordination and balance. Individual Physicals skills necessary for combat. Therefore, I see no conflict in music, dancing and warfare regardless of ethnicity. Peace.

  • *ethnic Russians refers to white predominantly Slavic Russians

  • what the hell is "native Russian"?? Russia is derived from Kievan Rus, an originally Slavic nation. after the Mongol yoke, the Russian Empire expanded to take over all the northern territories that were previously under Genghis Khan's rule, merging easternmost Europe and Siberia. you could say Eastern Siberian indigenous people. there are over 50 different nations, turkic, mongoloid and mixed living in Siberia beside the "ethnic" Russians (of whom many also carry Mongol genes)

  • @lowlandslist is right not a fair or legitimate assumption at all considering the Yup'ik or Eskimo have traveled all over the artic circle for all time with settlements in Canada, the US, Russia & Western Europe. theyre friendly folks who adapt well to others so the Canadians call themselves Inuit & have blended some prairie native culture into thiers so theyre diff from the 1s in Russia or Greenland, i am Gitxsan totally unrelated but i have lived with them for a time.

  • These are not ethnic "Russians". They are Yup'ik (Siberian "Eskimos"), who have relatives in Alaska.

  • @TheMetroRockTV

Wrong. Paleo populations are the ancestors of modern day American Indians. Modern-day northeast Asians are no more Indian ancestors than modern-day Africans are yours. That paleo population no longer exists and was isolated from other Eurasians for thousands of years on a now submerged strip of land.

  • @WhiteSeaLeviathan The fact that you call me stupid just because I made a stupid joke makes you stupid too. Intelligent people can make stupid things as good as everyone other. But I have to say: Yes, my comment up there is worse than every other stupid comment I've posted :(

  • @Nockahomer95 another stupid joke from a stupid person

  • @ToolsnFire Hm, touche

  • @babyblack94 your scenario is not an ironic situation(but it's a notion for your ocean), that's a coincidental situation(a surprising coincidence or unexpected coincidence is not irony per se)

An example of irony would be if the peoples in this video are completely opposed to modern electrical technology of the past couple hundred years but yet they would agree to being filmed for posting onto youtube. That's a coincidence with a conflict of 'consistency'. That's irony.

  • @TheMetroRockTV I know! Can you answer my broader question though! What's the European/Indo-Aryan history with these sort of dances? Who knows?
