How many other bands feature their bass player on an album cover? Then again, with bass lines like the ones you find on " Creepin' " and " Paranoid " ( my favorite Mel bass line ) how could you not feature him. What a band! Powered by the Messenger guitar, the Ludwig drums and that thunder - grooving Fender bass! Make-up soon and jam boys!
Awesome song and still relevant today...awesome bass lines by Mel Schacher and amazing vocals from Mark Farner, while Don and Craig layin' down a cool groove! I miss this original lineup. Why cant they just be friends again and make great music like they all once did in the past??!!

That is one killer song and it's mainly due to the bass line. Mel Schacher, I believe? Good one, Mel!
