What with the programmed drums (the unacceptable face of electronic percussion) and the nursery rhyme pace of the vocals, this is an aberration of the first degree. Check out the original version by It's A Beautiful Day on the album of the same name released in 1969 (available on CD).

I agree totally with MewDoremichan. This version is horrible The beautiful version is indeed on the album "It's a Beautiful Day" and that's the only version that one should listen to. Can be found on ITunes too.

ok look i dont know who alliance in chains is but david is my uncle, the one who wrote the song, im not a huge fan of this type of music, but at least its nice to know someone actually cared to remake it, that means it has some decent meaning. White Bird on Meth. The original was beautiful, serene, blissful. This version is horrible. For those of you who have not heard the original, it is posted on You Tube. I saw It's a Beqautiful Day do this song with Jethro Tull tour and it was beautiful and calming.
