Congrats!! I feel you have come a long ways from your painful childhood roots. I don't know you but I feel I can relate in a lot of ways. Good luck with your studies . As far as wanting to have things go your way, at my age of 51, I still am trying to surrender the control I feel I need to have and let life enfold as it will. ,All the best.

Wow, I am 26 and you just made me realize something about myself and my relationships with others. Growing up I had a very chaotic dysfuctional childhood. With verbal and physical abuse now as an adult I find myself wanting things run my way for some reason... and I just realized why. I just want to have the control on the situation. Thanks for the insight.
