Occupy Wall Street will not be televised by M$M

Keith Olbermann pointed out Wednesday night on Countdown that the major newspapers had been ignoring the five-day-long "Occupy Wall Street" protests, but would have scrambled to cover a similar-sized tea party protest.

"Why isn't any major news outlet covering this?" he asked. "If that's a tea party protest in front of Wall Street about Ben Bernanke putting stimulus funds into it, it's the lead story on every network news cast. How is that disconnect possible in this country today with so many different outlets and so many different ways of transmitting news?"

How many of you still believe we are living in a democracy?

We live in an oligarchy. Elections and politicians and media that cover politics have been bought. So long as an elite cabal of individuals have their own people in our offices, the system our founding fathers left us is just a tool to pull the wool over our eyes. Americans are not choosing the best candidate, they are choosing the most available one.

Let's, also, put war criminals behind bars as well. For what about justice for the thousands of families in Iraq and Afghanistan who have suffered great losses for the 2 illegal wars the US has launched based on erroneous information, yet, after many years has not taken any significant step to end its illegal occupation. Let's not forget the grave injustices committed against our brothers and sisters in Palestine. They, too, have been suffering because of Israel's illegal expansion.
