My thoughts exactly... I saw this commercial last night during Conan on TBS and I instantly recognized that sound effect.
I turned to my wife and yelled "They ripped that from Final Fantasy VI !!"
She didn't know what I was talking about, but I knew I was right. Glad I'm not the only one :)

It might mean we're a bit sick that we've had the sound of digital wind implanted forever in our brains since the early 90s...But I also am glad I'm not the only one to have noticed this.
