Pianist Sarah Cahill plays and talks about the music of Frederic Rzewski, including his masterpiece 36 Variations on "The People United Will Never Be Defeated."
I don't like to be a hater, but I really don't find anything in Cahill's playing worth much at all. I've heard her play live several times, and she has no feeling at all. Her performances are always so lifeless.
gifted. That all i can say.

This isn't meant as a concert, obviously, but just a short demonstration of some of the techniques Rzewski uses in his music.

You're not a hater, just honest, little to listen to here - fortunately the music rises above the playing.
