This movie was Amazing but the last 12 minutes was the worst bit of film I have seen In a long, long time! It completely ruined the entire movie for me! I left the movie shaking my head! Just the ending was just unbelieveably bad! Could have been an all around amazing movie!

I just watched this. It was awesome, apart from J.J Abram's over-use of those horrible lense flares...again. I thought it really worked well in Star Trek but they were highly annoying in this movie. And did you notice that the alien had the same yes as E.T? That was a nice touch.

Hey I have a concern about movies I've seen recently, the thing is, when I look at the movie it looks dark and and desaturated, then when I come home I see the trailers on youtube and the colors look nice and the luminosity is right, this has happened the last two films I' ve seen, Harry Potter and Super 8, none of them in 3D. I'd like to have your input on what could be wrong and if I should report this to my local theatres thanks! Also I've noticed it in more than one theatre.

waaay too many lense flares. I dont know what Abrams likes soo much about them. Sometimes they even brought me out of the story and the "Spielberg Feeling". I agree with anything else you said.

i LOVED Super 8. and i agree that the ending wasnt what i was hoping for. now, me being horrified of E.T. and the fact that i love horror movies, the ending was definitely a let down. i thought it shouldve ended better.

the kid's acting was AMAZING. dakota fanning's sister was awesome. overall, loved this movie. great review =)

i honestly loved this movie. the fat kid reminds me of me when i was his age and the weird long haired kid who likes to blow shit up reminded me of my best friend haha. Ryans right, this is an Eff Yeahhh film :)
