  • speaking of teachers, i hear Harvey Shapiro in there.

    Great Stuff!!

  • perceptive comment! Irina Nuzova worked for five years in Shapiro's studio, perhaps you are hearing her imprint on the performance.

  • im just starting to learn this. already in love with it :)

  • If you enjoy this piece, I recommend the Complete Trios and Sonatas by the Kalichstein Laredo Robinson Trio. They are superb veteran musicians who have played together for over three decades.

The pianist here sounds a bit stiff.

  • I really like this rendition of the much beloved opus 40. Looks like a nice dress too!

  • Dayum.

And that, sirs, is how this was meant to be played.

He makes it look so easy. It isn't fair!

  • @livelife409 I agree, she is too loud. She has a beautiful sound though!

  • SHES PLAYING TOOOOOOOO LOUD..my goodness. the piano and cello are suppose to be one. ..sell she is quit good though. I like her..but she needs to be well aware for the piano!!

  • I love Shostakovich! <3
