I was doing my ~weekly ritual of pouring and making a new batch of Kombucha... getting inspired by what ingredients i could add for the bottle brewing portion of it... when i reached behind my shelves and found a bottle from some kombucha experiment from two years ago... my instinct was to just throw it out: obviously. i went to the bath tub to open it because i assumed there would be a pop: a huge one! but the colour of the spray was so attractive i couldn't just dump it out
i poured a glass and tasted it and quite liked it... then decided to make this video.. i ended up drinking the rest of the bottle and loving the flavour and feel of it. i'm pretty sure it is a bit alcoholic as well... i didn't know there was a tradition of making kombucha beer and still haven't researched it... i'll go looking on line when i have time, but running off now... anyone know?

  • Interesting dude, I had a venigery batch (after brewing for 4 weeks) to which I added fresh ginger and cayenne pepper. Tasty! I dont think anyone else has left it to sit that long! Good job!
