wake up u stupid students, the reason that there are savings being made to all government spending now is because the last government left us in so much debt that the country is skint/broke/no money, and us simple TAXPAYERS can no longer afford to let u study subjects like the history of art or politics at our expense , so wake up smell the coffee and realise that if this generation of TAXPAYERS does not pay of the debt then YOU will have to in the future your choice!!!!!

emily you silly little slag
Why does no one give a fuck about your peaceful marching?
Because it achieves sod all, be violent of just don't bother really
These protests got so much coverage due to police casualties and criminal damage, not because some silly rich girl (whos so deluded she thinks some sort of skinks character) made a lovely banner with felt some tip pens
I love to spit in Mr Porters face, smarmy prick

I am one of the peaceful protesters, but I do not condemn the violence. Without the violence and destruction, most of the media coverage would not have been so extensive, there would be less awareness now. Some sacrifice must be made for the greater good. I do not agree with setting christmas trees on fire and things that don't really help. If we keep peaceful forever, nothing will ever change. They will not stop without a fight (the government).

A lot of violant protesters were actually corporation thugs dressed as students

what the majority of peaceful protestors did was brilliant, but this video is so extremely divisive. its all for the same cause, and you dont get to decide who is or isnt part of the '50000 students'. of course it wasnt the majority, but that doesnt mean that the people who did it were any less a part of it. if you really think that all your views on education can be represented by one little boy, whoever he is then that is pretty sad. you are playing straight into the divide and conquer tactic

I was at the Edinburgh & London demos in Nov. '97 which was just after Labour had first introduced tuition fees. Thousands of us marched peacefully and after we brought London to a standstill there was almost zero press coverage. After these recent protests, I'm astounded at the press coverage - and I'm sure its not because of the students who marched peacefully. ;)

great video mate
This is an excellent video and Liverpool agrees with you entirely. We'll make sure this is seen by as many as we can. Good luck and here's to the future...

Nice one Emily, I like the chart you used to show the number of protesters vs violent people.
