Well I got 3 kids go here and they dont like it. My oldest daughter had two girls keep picking with her and I talk to teacher dean and Principal and they still let those girls make fun and bully my baby. I took,my babies out of Detroit Public school and brought them to Regent and it is to the point where my kids wont be returning. I have to be real and say that the school always doing jean day and they said that kids go on trips, none of my kids have been on a trip. Dont send your babies here!

And she yells at the 1st graders to fold their arms in the hallway but she allows her daughter, a kindergarter to be disruptive during assembly and she walks out her class. The Principal makes everything about money and not the kids. There is always a $1 jean day but no one says where the money goes. The library has no books!! And I was told that they would have more books by December and they dont. This is pitiful. This school should have the same materials as all NHA schools.

My son had not be outside in 3 months for recess because 4 kids in his class were being disruptive and they punished the entire class. Some teachers act like they hate the black students there, especially the Principal Mrs. Dowker. I have been walking in the hallway and tried to say hello and she will deliberately look the other way. You can not approach her to talk about an issue you may have, she will instantly get rude and hostile. She is constantly rolling her eyes if a parent is talking.

This video and everything about this school is false. There are a few teachers that actually care about the students but when I saw few, I mean three. When I enolled my son in this school I was told that they do an extensive academic check on children to make sure that those children with behavior problems are not admitted. That was a lie, they allowed kids that they know have behavior problems in the school. These children distract the teacher, bully other student and don't care about learning.
