Presentazione BMW Sauber F1.08

La BMW Sauber ha presentato stamani a Monaco la F1.08, la nuova vettura per il mondiale 2008 di F1.
La BMW e' stata una delle sorprese della stagione 2007, posizionandosi stabilmente come la terza forza del mondiale alle spalle di Ferrari e McLaren. Dopo la squalifica del team di Woking ha poi concluso la stagione al secondo posto.

"Abbiamo percorso una lunga strada in due anni e mezzo, da quando il nuovo team e' stato creato" ha commentato Mario Theissen, boss del team. "Sono state due stagioni competitive, abbiamo speso molte risorse per la nuova vettura. La F1.08 incorpora tutto cio' che abbiamo imparato, tutta la nostra esperienza degli ultimi due anni. Sara' ancora una volta un grande passo avanti".

On average, 1,000 eggs, 1,800 bread rolls, 120 kilos of meat, 90 kilos of fish and 100 kilos of pasta were consumed by team members and guests per Grand Prix weekend. Added to this were the 800 litres of water and 1,500 litres of soft drinks consumed per race. ... :-)
