  • Do you have an opinion of William Dever?

  • @achtungcircus Well, I had to look him up and hope that the Wiki entry on him is decent, I agree with him.

  • You might want to use VenomFangX as a foil for a future episode of "Your own Historical Jesus." This example of literary pareidolia has Venom using the Old Testament as a prediction of Jesus:

Make sure to put Venom's name in the tag section and you'll get more hits and subs.

  • @zarkoff45 I don't want to give PCS any more press then he's already gotten. That guy is just...I have no words.

  • To what extent are the archaeologists with a pro-Biblical agenda muddying up the waters for the rest of you guys?

  • @PrimateDaddy Well, it doesn't really begin to be a problem till we have to deal with crap like the "Crucifixion Nails" the "James Ossuaries" and creationism in general. Though I have a funny story about when I went to the Creation Expo here in Indiana. There's a vid I need to make.

  • Very enjoyable. Nice job.

  • Religion was born??? Religion was born way before the Bible.

  • @ArchyFantasies

You should read his book "Who were the Early Israelites and where did they come from" From what I heard it's kind of a response to Finklestine.

Here's a 30 minute interview with him. It's downloadable so you can save it if you currently don't have time.

  • @falchion49 yah, and then they lose site of the larger overall picture.

  • One of the problems with Biblical Archaeology is that the agenda led version relies on artefacts as opposed to the actual contexted archaeology.
