  • You all act like its a flag. It's a shirt that didn't even fit anymore. I'm upset. He was my favorite player by far. It's not often when a superstar leaves somewhere after over a decade of a HoF career.

  • @megarockradio He helped bring 2 championships to the cards you ungrateful fuck

  • @megarockradio You know who else hasn't produced in the playoffs but still makes huge money? A-rod. And Berkman didn't match Pujols in Home runs, HE IS ONLY 4 YEARS OLDER THAN PUJOLS, and has a lower career batting average. Pujols didn't lie to the fans of St. Louis. He did the negotiating behind closed doors, as it should have been. The cardinals could have kept him, but they would have had to sacrifice other pieces of the franchise. They chose to go the other route. The end.

  • @axsimulate It's not like we're an evil team just for making a smart decision. We've had a few great players (Mike Napoli to the Rangers, Mark Teixeira to the Yankees, etc.) taken away by bigger teams before their stats really hit the roof. Just because we're trying to return some power to the roster doesn't mean the Angels are hunting for great players from smaller teams. It obviously took $220 million to seal the deal.

  • @1995cornflakes Besides Pujols is making the jump from the National league to the American league. In leaving the National all he stats from the day he started to the day he signed are frozen, never change again. Now in the American league he will be starting from scratch. In the American league, his batting average is zero, he hit zero home runs, no RBI's etc.

  • @1995cornflakes He will not be inducted in the Hall of Fame as a Cardinal. He will be as an Angel. When Pujols signed the contract with the Angles he forever closed the books on the Cardinals. It will almost be like he never was one. That was part of the deal with the Angels. The Angels wants the spotlight on them, not the Cardinals. They want Pujols to be seen an Angel and an ex-Cardinal. It's all part of their marketing plan.

  • @taylorgangordie1021 I don't think you understand how this all went down. Pujols made everybody think that he was going to stay by saying how much he loved St. Louis and it's fans and money was not a factor. Then he turned around and ran with the money. He lulled people into a false sense of security then pull the rug out from under them. He totally botched the whole thing. That's why people are upset. It's not that he left it's in the circumstances of how he left. Get it?

  • @axsimulate Albert is not married to this franchise.....you very simple minded fans are acting like scorn lovers instead of BASEBALL FANS!!! he fulfilled his contract and decided to leave. he has done alot for this city and franchise you should be grateful not tarnish his name because he decided to leave

  • Theses people don't even know what baseball is, its the stupid cardinals franchise fault that Albert isnt in St. Louis anymore, you guys had to so much time to make your choice over one of the best players in baseball, and even after what he did in the world series you still have to think about it?? Card fans are ungrateful. He's worth every penny.

Yankee fan till the grave but I can recognize a great player when I see one.

  • @taylorgangordie1021 Ask yourself if you like being lied to. That's what Pujols did to the Cardinals fans. If he was honest about the whole thing to begin with, people would not have been upset. Disappointed, but not upset. As a two faced liar, he deserves the ire he is receiving.

  • If he was your favorite player, that's all the more reason for you not to be treating him like this. Please remember he has kids and a family. Please remember that he loves St. Louis. At the very least, you should wish him well. They had no thought, Dee Dee said, not once, of leaving St. Louis. They didn't lie. They just didn't see how it would play out with the length of offers, and we couldn't swing it. I encourage you to consider taking the video down.
