I shoot 2 cardboard targets, kind of man sized at about 23 and 30 yards away. This is to show you how well these cheap little homemade wax bullets can shoot. I hit both targets and I bring you the farthest one back to the camera so you can see that even at that distance, it still went through the cardboard. If you listen you can hear the wax bullet hitting the cardboard. Like I talk about in my other videos, these are bullets made of candle wax and propelled by a primer only. No gun powder at all is used.

You will enjoy being able to practice at home with these. It's not the same as practicing with real ammo, no recoil, no follow-up shots, but it's still fun and useful training and cheaper than shooting .22lr. These may break the skin at close range though. I use to do this with a .45 but the 9mm seem to fly much faster and I am not using a flat nose wad cutter.
I agree with you, the 45acp by nature is a low velocity projectile and the best bet in this case is a 9mm. I use live ammunition as well but with the incredible rise in ammo prices, training with wax bullets is the way to go.

Good alternative. I'm planning to make my own wax bullets for target shooting and training at home.
