I love this song - David sang it at his birthday concert last year and, because he'd not sung it for so long we had to help him out with the words, which he was thankful for, great evening was had by all that night. Thanks for being born David- your voice is really great, may you entertain us for a long time yet.

Oh I've still got tears streaming down my face from this,transported me right back to the darkened dining room and my own little record player and no-one understood me and how i felt about that voice sheesh the years have gone but omg I still know every word.Thanks for sharing,ace photos and memories and Thank-you Mr Cassidly for the gift of your voice and emotions xx

I love this song so much. THVM for uploading this! I was wondering if you or anyone has any information about the inspiration for the lyrics of this song. Were the words written for him personally?? Because it seems like this song COULD have been written about his own childhood. And it sounds like his voice is breaking up a little at times, esp. at 2:19-2:22. What do you think? Maybe thats a stretch. It brings tears to my eyes. Great pics!!! Thanks again.
