  • @ChrisBudapest007 I hope you meant "THE" best band. LoL

  • @yayshe that's probably because it is floating

  • This album is awesomeeeeeeee!!!! Pearl Jam Rules !!!

  • @ghettsulfer WASHINGTON FTW

  • @Box7337 times changed. u dont see bands selling 10 million records anymore. In my opinion No code is one of their best albuns

  • I wish this song was longer! lol

  • @Box7337 No, the word "Grunge" was started by a man named, Mark Arm. Singer for Green River. He would use the word to describe their genre of music. Which later on caught on to rock bands from the Seattle area.

  • @ghettsulfer Grunge is just a label picked up MTV types to market any music comming out of the Pacific Northwest at that time. All the bands you listed have distinctly different sounds. Melvis and Nirvana had more of a Punk feel, Soundgarden and Alice and Chains more of a metal feel, Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees more of a classic rock feel. The bands in general were anti glam rock, and all from the same area, maybe thats the grunge part. Call them grunge if you choose, I choose rock :)

  • @Box7337

They were formed in Washington, which was the state that started grunge music. And rock band from Washington, mainly Seattle, would be considered a grunge band. Nirvana (Aberdeen, Washington), Foo Fighters (Formed off of Nirvana which came from Washington), Soundgarden (Seattle, Washington), Screaming Trees (Ellensburg, Washington), The Melvins (Montesano, Washington), Alice in Chains (Seattle, Washington), and of course.. Pearl Jam (Seattle Washington) And many more great bands!

  • @23everybreathyoutake No Code was the beginning of Pearl Jam's relative (to themselves) commercial demise. It was their first Album not certified multi-platinum. So it definately was not a comeback album, quite the opposite really. In fact Pearl Jam have never commercially made a comeback. The Pearl Jam album you dubbed the comeback album only sold 700,000 copies while No Code has sold 1.4 million. Pearl Jam are fantastic but will never garner the spot light like b4.
