I agree... why does Saber have to die like that?? and without a word of saying goodbye or i love you...it really breaks my heart...

@mrbluesky323 That's earlier though; that's when Saber is coercing Shiro into not holding back on killing her. At the end Saber is in a position where she needs 10 minutes to regenerate enough to act.

It's even said, in the quote I included in my post, that Saber doesn't care (and by extension, know) what's going to happen between Rin and Sakura; implies heavily it can go either way. It's also listed as "End". And the Tiger Dojo 38 doesn't call it a bad end or anything.

It's implied though. if memory serves correctly, sabre is even said to get up before the scene ends. Rin has no chance against sabre and so it won't be the normal end.

@mrbluesky323 It's never stated that she kills Rin. She survives, but she's unable to act for 10 minutes. It's fully possible that Rin saves Sakura in this path. All that's said is "A tremor rumbles in the distance. She doesn't care which way the scales have tipped."

This could theoretically lead to the Normal End; but that's sad enough to be a bad end so whatever. Like Saber says, saving Sakura is worth nothing unless Shiro survives. And Rin won't take him dying well either.

Oh well, it has been a year, but in this route Saber didn't get close enough to Shirou in order to love him.

He doesn't love her either. He just cared a little about her, the one that became his servant for 2 days or so before she got absorbed in the mud.

I hope Type-Moon make OVAs out of this. A movie would be bad, indeed.
