If you have a field recorder (atomos ninja/blackmagic hyperdeck) you can record 1080i uncompressed through the HDMI out.

@Deanzsyclone Yeah, it only does 720p. But the effective resolution is comparable to the canons, which means it should upscale pretty well. The big problem is the codec though, it sucks. only 24Mbps MJPEG.

The camera is pretty cool though, even with a crappy video mode.
