Our picture montage is a collection of some of great touchdown catches and throws for touchdowns in the NFL over the years.
The classic NFL music in the background is a song from Autumn Thunder from NFL Films.
"Rainbows to the End Zone" by Sam Spence
The music is awe-inspiring and it's ingrained into my memory from the 1970s when it was featured on "This Week in Pro Football" regularly. The NFL Films composer of this song, Sam Spence, is a favorite of mine.
Featured:
Dwight Clark, 49ers "The Catch" from the 1982 NFC Championship game
Lynn Swann's Super Bowl X spectacular catch
Roger Staubach and Joe Namath throws

Thanks, but this track is strickly for the old timers. If the Vikings ever win one, it'll have to be with another track.
This one must remain in it's given era.

@targetvideo1 This Sam Spence song definitely has the "British pastoral symphony" influence. Listen to the finale of Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Pastoral Symphony" (Symphony #3) as an example. BTW, thanks a lot for this.

they released this song plus many others on a box set a few years ago...have to admit this is one of my favorites of all of them as well...they used to always pair this with the slo-mo zoom on the spiraling ball before it met the hands of Branch, Walker, Swann, Pearson, Hayes, Carmichel, Burrough, Joiner, etc...

Bobby Bryants' shocking interception and consequent TD return in the 73' NFC Championship Game. Steps in front of Bob Hayes and runs it back 63 yards , putting the game out of reach AND getting my beloved Vikings back in the Superbowl....Stupenduosly glorious !!!
