@loveXmyXnails ...spilled over to your cuticle/skin area (that will cause major lifting!).

@loveXmyXnails A size #8 oval brush may work best to avoid getting excess monomer on your skin. Also, another cool trick, if you have a problem with your monomer to acrylic powder ratio, try adding a few drops of pure acetone to your monomer. Even if you make your pearl too runny, the acetone will help decrease drying time. (I use it for 3d nail art, but I use 1/2 acetone, 1/2 monomer). Once you get your ratio down, you'll see you'll spend less time cleaning up the sides of excess acrylic that..

Just a few tips: When using monomer, make sure to always squeeze your brush on the side of the container you have the monomer in. This will help with your ratio of monomer to acrylic powder, and help get rid of any air bubbles in your final product. Also, be very careful of the amount of monomer you apply to your nails. I noticed when you clean up your smile line, a lot of monomer gets on your skin...If you expose your skin to too much monomer, you can eventually become allergic to the liquid.

Girl they look good !! I have a love hate relationship with acrylics..i love em nd they look nice but i alwats end up takin em off after so long then i want them again lol. How do you fill yours..or do you do a new set? This is def a money saver !!

Really cute, and easier than I thought, quick question though. Why is the thumb nail so small?
Super cute and easy! I used to do my own acrylics because im just so picky about my nails. But the upkeep was the hardest part for me. To file them down and fill them ugh i hated doing that because its hard to file the surface of the nail with a regular file without filing the skin around. You need the drill with the file attachment.

@09blueyes Yah I agree its tough but iv done it soooo much thats not a problem for me anymore. I have a drill too, I just figured most people don't have access to one so I figured I would show how to hand file! Thanks for watching! <3
