Dumpling Mastery 101
Things You Need:
- as many Feng's Dumplings as you can eat
- a packet of Feng's Gourmet Sauce (either Garlic Coriander, Spicy Ginger or Ginger Vinaigrette; it came with the dumplings)
- cooking oil (vegetable, canola or olive oil are the heart healthiest choices)
- sesame oil (a dab'll do ya!)
- a non-stick frying pan w/lid
- water
Things You Do:
- put just enough oil in the pan to coat the bottom; add a couple of drops of sesame oil and turn on a medium heat
- remove the dumplings from freezer; DO NOT THAW
- evenly place the dumplings flat side down in the pan and pour in approx. 1 cup of water
- cover the pan and turn on medium heat for approx. 6 minutes
- when the water is almost evaporated (7 - 8 min.) check the bottom of the dumplings
-when the dumplings are golden brown on the bottom, remove and serve.
- pour Feng's Gourmet Sauce over the dumplings and enjoy!
but dumplings are cooked in steam. These frozen dumplings aren't cooked when you buy them from supermarkets. Does it work your method?

@Rrumiiii Steaming is one way of cooking dumplings; you can also boil them. Feng's Dumplings are frozen when put in the pan and not precooked. Because they are frying on the bottom and steaming on top, they cook through thoroughly. Hope that helps!
