  • what instrument is Lindley playing? thanks for posting!

  • You wanna know who the men are that call the shots?? Rove, Wolfowitz, Perle, Feith, etc. These are the men who hide in the shadows. But not so much as the Kochs and their ilk.

  • Awesome. Uber, even. Peace, all. Love each other.

  • Absolutely love this recording of the song, These guys sounds amazing together

  • Beautifully said. To see a little history of what motivated Jackson to write such lyrics watch Noam Chomsky Lecture - Distorted Morality. It can be found with a google search.

  • i dont dislike this song , I HATE THIS SONG ! i hate how true this song is !, i hate how unpopular this song is ! ,i hate the fact that this song should have ever been written about this once great nation ! , i was 14 when saigon fell , but it seems no one can remember the men that we lost in that war ! and now we send moms , and daughters and sisters and wives and girlfriends to die in a combat zone too ? i mostly hate that we havent learned a god damn thing !

  • tumbs up if thrive brought you here

  • @FilAmFan Agreed.

  • @W2n1dowsx Butler was a Lt. Gen., USMC and two-time winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor. Gen. Eisenhower said he wished he were half the man that Gen. Butler was.

The duPonts picked Gen. Butler to lead a military coup against the FDR administration, but Butler testified before Congress about what the duPonts wanted him to do.

One of Gen. Butler's main complaints in "War is ..." is that international bankers finance both sides of a war for their own gain regardless of blood lost.

  • Even when im not listening to this song and all the great songs on the DVD, im here listening to them repeatably..
