Drumming to Andy McKee (Art of Motion)

I am a big Andy McKee fan, and wanted to put a drum track to one of my favorite songs of his: Art of Motion... so I did. This is somewhere between playing to compliment the music, and a little bit of showcasing, but I tried not to go too far in either direction. (Sorry about the slideshow, I neglected to video tape, so I threw in some mildly appropriate photos I had on hand.) Anyway, hope you like it... oh, and Mr. McKee, if you're listening... LET'S JAM!

i thot ur photos were perfectly appropriate and they definitely go along with the calm soothing vibe of the music.

I Love the part after the guitar breaks where u use the double pedal or something sounds awesome and u just laid down on the drums, i liked it all though idk i think of some swift drum rolls like the drummer from rush but that is just my taste kicking.

@Ryannpwns Thanks a lot for the props. It's funny you mentioned the Rush fills... Neil Peart is EXACTLY what I was going for, so really good pickup on your part. You're also correct in the breaks, I was doing quadruplets w/ back to back kicks, but I didn't use the double pedal. Honestly my left foot is kinda weak, so I've tried to compensate by developing a fast right foot... works in this kind of playing, but not so much for like rock drumming. Thanks again... very observant comments!
