  • I was very lucky and have no noticeable residual effects. Bells Palsy is a result of inflammation of the facial nerve. I found a very affordable natural product that treats the source of inflammation. A combination of Beta Glucan and Resveratrol.

  • During the period of time that I couldn't close my eye, I would use a band-aid to tape it closed - manually closing the eyelid. otherwise I would wake in the morning with a very dry eye and having to put in eye drops. I'm all better now - thankfully!

  • so if you got in a fight and you got hit in the face....you wouldnt feel it?

  • Of course you would feel it. Just because you don't have motor control doesn't mean you are numb.

  • Yes, exactly what medications did you take? I got bells palsy 2 days ago and was put on Medrol (steriod) pack for 6 days and an antiviral for 3 days. Then ER just told me to follow up with my regular doctor. My eye is sore so I wear a patch during the day on and off to force it to close and rest. also wear a patch at bedtime. Also they said to use artificial tears.

  • try this combination of Beta Glucan and Resveratrol at AntiPalsy (dot) com

  • This is my 3rd day with Bell's Palsy. When I woke up tuesday morning, I was freaking out, because I thought I had a stroke. It makes me feel pretty sad, and I hope I recover. Thanks for posting these videos. Best wishes.

  • This has happened to me for a couple years no, every so often. I hate it but what can ya do? lol

  • @PereiraSiddharth - try Beta Glucan and Resveratrol. An affordable product is available at AntiPalsy (dot) com for only $39 per month.

  • That'show it started with me, too. I felt a tingly sensation underneath my left ear (where the facial nerve stems from) but I didn't think much of it. The next day, I woke up with the left side of my face paralyzed. Since then, I can blink fine, eat, close my eyes but I still feel weakness on that side and my smile is very crooked. I'm very self conscious about my smile. Did you smile ever straighten out? Does the weakness ever go away?
