April 26, 1987 N101DN Pilot was 58yo Cline Hogg. He saved money for over 20 years to buy this helo. The instructor was late getting there, and he couldn't resist and couldn't wait any longer. He started it, ran it up and raised the collective without releasing the cyclic friction.
Cline Hogg continued to reside in Fontana until 2002 with his wife, Zee. He passed away in Geneva, Ohio, on November 19th, 2006.
