I know nothing, but just watching several videos on it, it looks like the early attempts have people trying too fast of a rhythm.
What's the max weight for that thing?

Wow thanks! Is it normal that it takes a while to get it, or are we just stupid? 3 of us have been trying over and over and we can't get it more that 20 feet. Thanks for the tip, I will have to try that!

Yeah completely normal for it to take a while. Whereabouts are you based?

Thanks for responding. When I try it, I get a little ways and then it just slowly goes into the water.

The key is to get a good solid push-off. To do this, wrap the toes of your pushing foot around the edge of the launch platform, then lean forward and push off hard when the yellow skimmer at the front hits the water. The bouncing motion is legs and arms at the same time, not independent of each other...

How do you do that? Whenever I try I just sink. Is there some sort of secret that I am missing here?
kylewmister 4 years ago
Just keep practising mate. Are you sinking straight away, or getting a little distance and then going down? Let me know how you're doing and I'll give you some hints.
