@ncshaggergirl When you are paying 200+ dollars for a boxset I would want everything to be perfect as well. I do not blame him for being angry. He is also posting this as a heads up to people. He doesn't have to do this but he does. So why be so rude? Anyway...to the video maker...I like the boxset real well. I own the old vinyl LP's and I think these do a good job at giving the nostalgic look.

People like ncshaggergirl are being a bit dumb. He should be PO that he was sold a bootleg set. I don't care if you think he has "too much time on his hands", I'm grateful he took the time to post this. I want to buy one, and he has convinced me to pay more money than I would on ebay/amazon to buy a LEGITIMATE set from an established company (music direct, acoustic sounds, elusive disc, etc.) You get what you pay for. To hell with Chinese bootlegs!

You obviously have WAY too much time on your hands. My questions would be is do they sound the same? I could care less if they come in a thin or a thick plastic sleeves. You can buy paper sleeves for very little. I could care lesss what the box smells like. BTW your "authentic"set doesn't have the authentic paper sleeves. The real ones have a hole on each side like an LP cover, with writing.I guess you got 2 fake sets. Oh well.

@ncshaggergirl Ha, I'm a very busy person thank you very much. No the cd's do not sound the same. Horrible digital artifacts on the counterfeit set. And yes, the authentic set has paper inner sleeves. No need for negativity.

I share your anger on this. I too received a bootleg Beatles mono box set today from ebay. However the seller did refund my paypal account and the case is closed. My question to you is, do you know if I have to send it back to the seller? Reason I ask is cuz ebay said its between me and him,but as far as ebay goes, they dont want it. This guy is saying he is a lawyer and goin to sue if I dont send it back. What do I do?

@rnsteh Well, if the seller wants it back, I would send it. If this person really is a lawyer, they should know it's a FELONY to sell counterfeit merchandise and can be prosecuted for doing so! Make sure they know that.

You said it, you have an "enormous collection" of music on CD, now why don't you put out some of that on youtube? You could make some great album playlists for the best cd's you have and make your channel become even more popular!
