This performance will fill you with love and have you holding your breath all at the same time. This is a contemporary piece about two birds. One caged bird (Khnachar Pakhi), and one free bird (Booner Pakhi).
Both birds are happy in their own worlds until they meet each other-- and once they meet, all they want to do is to be together. The free bird wants the caged bird to come out of its cage and fly in the open like nature intended... But the caged bird wants the free bird to come in the cage and be cared for in a world of luxury. As much as the caged bird wants to join the free bird, she cannot get out of her cage and has forgotten how to fly— and the free bird cant live a caged life after a life time of being free. The caged bird asks the free bird to sing songs together. But the free bird refuses to sing any learnt songs. With all their differences, they try to reason with each other to find a way to be together. Will they find a way?
