My 2010 Christmas card animation

This is a 3-D animated version of a 3-D Christmas card that I sent to friends and family for Christmas 2010.

POV-Ray™ version 3.6.2.win64 freeware rendering program
which I helped create. For details see http://www.povray.org/

The model contains over 101,000 objects. All of the models in this card were reused from previous year's cards.
Mary with Child 1997, The 3 Magi 1998, Joseph 2001, Shepherds and Sheep 2002, Trees and brick wall 2009.

It took about 20 hours to correct some design problems with the stable and to arrange the objects
and dual virtual cameras in such a way to achieve the proper 3-D effect. (I've never done 3-D before)
for the card, 2separate renderings were required at 4650 x 2850 (600 dpi) resolution.
Each took about 11 hours 40 minutes to render on a
64-bit Intel core i7- 920 2.66GHz processor running on Windows 7 64-bit.
For the animation, separate left right images were rendered for a total of 2023 frames.
Each half frame was rendered at 960 x 1080 which is one half of a 1080p HDTV image.
The rendering took several days to complete left and right images for that many frames.
