Armageddon at the Mushroom Village mask eyes

Here I make the eyes for the actors masks. Instead of buying expensive varaform plastic mesh, I made my own for a fraction of the price using Friendly Plastic, mesh fabric, an iron, and some baking parchment. Lay the mesh on top of the parchment, sprinkle Friendly Plastic onto it, lay another layer of parchment over it, and iron until melted evenly. Then I cut the pieces, melted them into place with a painters heat gun, and made the holes. When the plastic melts, it fills in the holes of the mesh, so they need to be cleaned out. At first I used a soldering iron, but that took too long, so I switched to a Dremel. I removed the burs left behind with a razor. Theyre finally ready to be painted.
