i don't get how Batio shreds with his fingers resting on the body of the guitar below the strings! i guess its something of a technique he developed over playing with so many guitars with floyd roses. i've tried it thinking it would help me play like him but my fingers just kept slipping and it didnt help lol and their both freakin awesome by the way.

Since MAB is left handed when he learned to pick he 'anchored' his hand with his 3 fingers and he still plays like that. Everybody has their own picking style that works for them. He utilizes economy of motion, the less distance you move the faster you can be.

Kopecky (left) taught Creative Writing at my high school in 2006. One class we shared what we had written as Mr. Kopecky played a sitar in the corner of the room. It was epic.
