I guess it makes sense that the Japanese would produce the superior steel that is used to make spyderco knives. After all they did also make the best swords in history.

FYI, if you didnt get it already, its called a LockBack(i.e. the lock is on the spine, duhh).

An inch and a quarter blade? that would make it smaller than the Bug. I think it is 2and a quarter inches.

Its not a liner its a frame lock. You said the cut outs on the liner

Its neither, its a lock back. when I said the cut outs on the liner I was refering to the liner, it had nothing to do with the lock. Please know what your talking about before you come and try to correct me.
