Gold plated HDMI cables do nothing in terms of picture. What a hdmi transfer from (lets say a PS3) is a digital picture (1080i or p). Either your tv receives the picture or doesn't.... but since it is digitial there is ABSOLUTELY no difference from a 5 dollar HDMI cable and an 150 one except the name and being gold plated

@Behemoth2334 people say they can tell the different which is what annoys me though, it's such a placebo effect, green is green, if a computer says 255, it wont be 250 at the other end, its 255 or nothing, thats the whole point in digital.....

the ONLY argument i can see for hdmi is "snag free" cables, but even those arent worth the £200 premium .... i'm glad someone agrees

I came here bcs i play MW3 on PS3 and for ex. a tube is going like -_-_-_-(not that much but little)and i was wondering is it normal or can i fix it if it isnt?

@MJayP93 but recently xbox got a new dashboard which includes the majority of what ps3 has.. e.g. youtube, msn etc... Please dont come on youtube and start saying how ps3 is rubbish because you just sound stupid.

@a2r1v1i2s Not really, if that was so true there would be no competetion in the market between ps3 and xbox. If xbox was so considerably better i think everybody would have bought one. I recon ps3 is has more enetertaining features like blu ray, free internet.. online is not rubbish on ps3 only if you have bad connection. And both xbox and ps3 have equally good graphics. so what makes xbox so better that is not opinon based e.g. controllers or the look of the console.

@tekhnokilla because I still have a ps3. It doesn't do anything except collect dust. The reason I was on this video is because I was bored at work and had nothing better to do. I love video games and am obsessed with improving the quality of playing them. xbox just does so much more than ps3....
