Regardless of what anyone believes about him innocent or not the man has spent the majority of his life in prison, meaning if he was guilty he still served time, if he was innocent he served uneeded time, upon his release his story still inspired man people to stand up for others who were wrongfully convicted and Carter himself had taken a proactive approach in searching for justice of other wrongfully accused, so regardless of your biased opinions much good has come from this whole ordeal.

@BakedxZombie Rubin Carter did in fact beat up a woman by the name of Carolyn Kelley on April 29,1976. His bodyguard was a witness.
This woman was a supporter of his at the time .
But changed her mind afterwards.
Maybe you can do the same .
If you had one to change!

@jhonny1980ify Before 1959? How many did he have after 1959? This is 2011 (for a few more minutes anyway) I have a hard time believing he'd beat up a woman awaiting a trial. Your like a lot of the corrupt society - once a prisoner, always a prisoner? Watch Pitbull Paroles please.

He can teach your kids how to rob,assault people,breaking and entering Etc:
Do your research ,you'll find he beat up a woman when he was waiting for his second trial.
A fine upstanding citizen ,like yourself no doubt!

@915utahdrive I wouldn't. Especially that his last conviction was in 1959, and he was proven innocent for that. I'd have him babysit my kids.
