Okay here's a classic AMV from my "alavic222" profile. I actually considered remaking this entirely since there were a couple editorial things that always bugged me about this....BUT this video is great (I no, where's my modesty lol) but seriously I originally made this at like 3 in the morning when I couldn't sleep and threw it together in about an hour after only hearing the song the night before. And all considered, I think it came out INCREDIBLE. Now at the time I made this, Versailles "Lyrical Sympathy" EP had just come out. Now they're a LOT more famous then they were then (having played US shwos and what not) so they're no longer the semi-unknown band made up of ex-Lareine vocalist Kamijo, ex-Aikaryu guitarist Teru, and all-around amazing guitarist Hizaki. But more about the vid....This vid uses clips from Malice Mizer's AWESOME silent vampire movie "Bara no Konrei" AKA "Bridal of Rose" this was one of the first major projects the band undertook with their last vocalist, Klaha. The album "Bara no Seidou" was actually the soundtrack of sorts for this movie. Like I said, it's a silent film, so it has no dialogue, just beautiful imagery and awesome music. Which is why I think it lent itself so well to a video like this. And the song I chose fits it great. That song is "The Love From A Dead Orchestra" Which is my personal favorite Versailles song. Also of note is that for some reason my version of the song is vastly different than most others...I KNOW that a lot of people got a bootleg version downloaded online but I've talked to people with official ones that have a different mix (not only is the MIX different but most noticeably, the talking part in the middle is not there) The narration that's missing is weird too because she is credited in the CD booklet so why leave her out of some versions? Anyways, watch this video and comment and rate ^_^. Also remember that I AM Manuel (alavic222) even though I currently have to use "psychox222" so I am still the creator of this video ^_^
Klaha?

Where can I get this version of "The Love From A Dead Orchestra"?
I have Lyrical Sympathy, but this version is different than the one on Lyrical Sympathy. The other version doesn't have the woman talking in it.

I've mentioned this before. I pre-ordered Lyrical Sympathy and this was the version I got. I later found out that the European one (which might confuse people since the inside is in Japanese still) and the recent re-issue contain a totally different mix of it (besides the narrator the instrument levels are all different too) What's weirdest is that the narrator is credited in ALL the versions even though she only appears on the ORIGINAL JAPANESE version. Hope that helps ^_^.

Thank you for the info!!
That is why, I have the special European Edition, not the Japanese First Press. I really like this version though, hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on it one day...
The narrator is the same as the narrator for The Revenant Choir, isn't she?

Exactly, she's the one who narrates The Revenant Choir. Which is weird that they'd leave her off just about every other edition. I guess they wanted to make a bit more straightforward in terms of song structure, but in all serious it was that part in the middle of this version that really made me take notice the first time I heard Lyrical Sympathy and what specifically made me want to make this particular video. It wasn't for many months that I learned another version.
