Not at this time. He is one of the Zoo's main education birds and brought out for many programs at the Zoo, schools and many other outreach programs.

He came to us from the BIrd Treatment & Learning Center in 2000. He had a broken wing which had to be partially amputated. We believe he was hit by a car.

I take it Peabody is a rescued bird, given how one of his wings is amputated. Was he mauled by a land predator? Hit by a car? Something else?
