I'm so sorry to hear it - and just after "Sugar" got a wide release, too. I was so convinced you guys were on the edge of everything that you deserve. I guess I can always hope for a change in the future.
FYI, whatever it's worth, "Song of Two Halves" and "The Curse" are my all-time favs and I even turned "The Curse" into a ringtone for my phone. The bittersweet, rose-with-a-thorn song always haunts me.

Sadly, the band broke up before this track along with 'Slick Machine', 'Falling Down', 'Omission' and 'Uproot Them 2010' (which would have made our next EP) could get properly recorded.. so I guess you may never get to hear a commercial version (although it would be on top of my to-do list if we ever did re-form).
I guess at least this video of the track exists for posterity :)
