They kind of took some of the backstory from Ivanhoe to make this robin, still good movie back in the day though.

The intention was good and there are some good performances in it.The problem with this movie was Kevin Costner.Robin Hood should not have a mid-western accent,it ruined the movie for me.

the best Robin Hood movie there is! Kevin Costner makes an awesome Robin Hood! And Alan Rickman as the cheriff is fantastic,and even if King Richard is only like for 2 minutes in the movie(I won't say who he is as to not spoil for those who haven't seen the movie yet), he makes it even greater.

this is a super sweet movie, i havnt seen it in like 15 years.....none of the video shops have it tho
