@gingermadman the 8800gt is the same card as the 9800gt they just made it a 55nm arcitechture rather than 65nm you can even have a 8800gt and a 9800gt in crossfire or w.e nvidia calls it. :) it'll run the same.

Hey, will i be able to play this game almost maxed with DX9 at 1920 x1080 with:
-Amd Athlon X3 435 @ 3ghz
-2gb DDR3 1600mhz
-EVGA 9800GT Superclocked

lol not very decent resolution ....standard now is 1920x1080 at least 24inch monitor 16:9 not a 19 or 17 inch 4:3 with 1280x1024 like yours LOL

tip bring all the settings with sliders to 1 and put the others to medium its up to you in the resolution

you think a 9800 512mb and an intel core 2 duo with 4 gb ddr3 will run this way better than you can

@gingermadman for some reason my 4200+ 2.6ghz ati radeon 2600 xt 512mb with 2gb of ram cant come close! it runs smoothe for a lilttle while but then the memory gets backed up and then it all just goes to hell after that

Go to google and search "gta nvidia drivers" it is the first link. Download the correct one for your OS install the new driver, and your missing textures are now found! :)

Let's hope my amd 4200 at 2.6ghz,8800GTS and 2gb of ram can run it even close to this.

I am pretty sure it will run about the same, maybe a few fps lower, thats it.
