After the battle, many Nanking citizens, who had abhorred bad deeds done by the Chinese military in the city, welcomed the Japanese military. One of the photos shows Japanese soldiers and the Nanking citizens wearing armbands of the flag of Japan and giving cheers, on the day of the Japanese militarys ceremonial entry into Nanking ("Sino-Japanese War Photograph News #15," the Mainichi Shinbun newspaper, published on Jan. 11, 1938)

The Nanking war crimes trial of 1947. Hundreds of eyewittnesses testified. Massive amounts of forensic evidence was presented. Japanese defendents were all found guilty. Many were executed. They had their trial, the evidence was presented, and the japanese were found guilty. This case was closed over 60 years ago. Now the japs think everybody forgot, so they try to rewrite history.

japan is becoming the hermit of asia, as China regains its original position as the forefront of civilization. It is amazing that Japan is still unable to confront its ww2 crimes. There was a post war tribunal and Nanking was part of the trial. Research on it.
