@MsMommaRose, and people tend to be happier when they are with others similar to themselves. TV shows present it that way, too. White stars with white stars, black stars with black stars, etc. (On occasion a black performer may not want to be with black chicks, and so he seeks white girls, usually blonde, too.) Most do not date or marry inter-racially.

It's funny you were unable to take advantage of all your country had to offer you despite being native born, but it's good you found your place in Europe. It's great that you find no solidarity with other black people around the world just because you are American. I am sure your fellow Americans miss you, you left a huge void! Good riddance!

i went there because I fell in love and got married. and I do have a job and so does my husband thank you very much. and I will bring my relatives there I have my own business so no one is using any resources thanks. im not dark skinned im caramel complexted with hazel eyes . since you want the last word so bad feel free to do so. I have no time for this petty exchange I dont have to deal with people liike you on a regular basis I have a holiday trip to plan. have a good life

@shyvixx1 Good for you, I'm sure you went there coz Europe needed you for your skills & education, not through marriage. Just like your relatives will also get there coz they are needed, not because they are related to you. Otherwise you are not any different from immigrants coming to the US, clogging up the system & driving down wages. I'm sure you are very welcome there since you make a positive contribution to that country with your dark skin & your escape from American poverty. Congrats!
