The one hack I think would make SOM much better is to have the game run a cooldown with magic, just like when you attack it goes from 0% to 100%. magic should be the same way. Cannot cast a spell until its at 100%, and it doesn't begin counting until after the spell damages.

@Drewseph0011 this is true, this is what they tried to fix in Seiken Densetsu 3, by making spell charge and batch them along with enemy spells

@Beastly242 oh no , the Hell Spike is another hack , I dont know if Masterflow made it public , there's only Blue Spike , he's much harder than the normal Blue Spike , but nowhere near Hell Spike
